Currently working as a Development Producer specialising in Factual Entertainment, Arts, True Crime, Daytime, and Documentaries. In 2023, I was part of a highly successful development team that competed in the BBC 'Hot House' Scheme with the award-winning production company Below The Radar.
As a qualified broadcast journalist, I have worked in production and in research for BBC Panorama and most recently, on the highly-anticipated 'Once Upon A Time In Northern Ireland' series with Walk On Air and KEO Films for BBC Two.
In addition to this, I have worked in development on a number of films and series for network commissioning rounds with the BBC and SVODs such as Discovery+. In 2020, I was hired as Production Coordinator on the award-winning documentary film 'Crock of Gold: A Few Rounds With Shane MacGowan', directed by Julien Temple with Executive Producer, Johnny Depp. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Music Technology, an MA in Broadcast Journalism, and an NCTJ Diploma in Journalism.
I began my career in 2015 at BBC Radio Lancashire, working on the legendary freeform radio show On The Wire (the longest-running alternative music show on BBC Radio and early champion of bands like The Smiths and Depeche Mode), before becoming a researcher on Inside Out, producing current affairs and investigative programmes and documentaries for BBC One and BBC North West Tonight. From 2016 - 2020, I regularly presented the Music News live on BBC 6 Music with Radcliffe and Maconie and Shaun Keaveny.
