During my undergraduate degree, I wrote short stories and poems, inspired by the texts I encountered. Throughout this period, film and television were a driving creative force for me. This is why, in my final year at Cambridge, I took a module on Visual Culture, which led me to think about how my literary work applied to visual mediums. After completing my undergraduate degree, I decided to take an MA in Creative Writing at Royal Holloway University, during which I put into practice many of the things I learnt about stories. I began writing a novel, centred around themes of masculinity, art, and mental health. I hope one day to adapt it to the screen. I graduated from my MA in December 2022 with a distinction, and I now look onwards to a career working in film, specifically in a scriptwriting capacity. I would relish the opportunity to help in any way I can, on and around set. I think being a runner would be a brilliant start for me and something I'd approach with huge enthusiasm. I have a car, can make a great cup of tea, and am highly organised. I also recently worked as a bookseller for Hatchards Piccadilly, where I further progressed my communication and organisation skills.
