I am curently seeking roles as a Production Manager. After having a range of various experiences I consider myself an educator and enjoy people and the learning experience more than anything I have undertaken in my life. While in University I worked as a Support Worker assisting young adults with various physical and mental limitations. I understand the different learning and teaching styles to a degree many others may not. After 3 years of teaching I found myself being offered an unlikely opportunity working within Production in TV and Film. This has taken me all over the world again in a very different role and having a very different perspective, working in under a different kind of pressured environment and adapting and facilitating many kinds of peoples expectations and in various demanding scenarios and projects. I can work to dead lines and time frames creating modules for learning or developing content. I have managed budgets of up to £550,000. Managed teams consisting of 15 heads of departments and 250 Crew members. I am looking for a more settled role in Wales/UK. I want to use my transferable skills to enrich a learning and safe environment. I feel I have the life experience and personal integrity along with aspirations of progressing my personal professional development that would make me a worthwhile consideration for this position. I enjoy working collaboratively in a leadership role and feel I can enhance confidence to bring out the best in those around me. I tend to be respected by students and have an inspiring story. As much as my time has been amazing within the Creative Industries, it is now time for me to pass on my knowledge, discipline, enthusiasm and ‘can do’ attitude to inspire others to create, develop, achieve and inspire themselves in an educational setting. I am approachable, perceptive, kind and thorough, attention to detail along with efficiency have been at the heart of my career.
