She has experience working across fiction, documentaries, animation, and commercials. She started her career as a Junior Editor at Silk Factory in London during her third year of university, managing the company’s I/O, overlooking every project, and editing. It allowed her to be familiar with the ins and out of post-production and problem-solving from a young age. While doing so, she kept editing on the side landing the role of editor and sound designer for WOUNDS, a dance short film screened as part of “Dance: Introducing Art” on BBC4 and BBC iPlayer. She then enrolled and got accepted into the Editing course at the National Film and Television School where she got the chance to grow as an editor and work on a variety of work. Two of her graduation films, “Gossip” and “From the Top”, got shortlisted for the student BAFTAS. She now just finished editing “A Warrior’s Dance”, a short film funded by Amazon Studios and NFTS, and her latest short film “Neo Nahda” has premiered at the BFI Flare. With experience both in short and long-form, Chiara believes that editing should be as elegant and invisible, as loud and fun. She enjoys experimenting with storytelling techniques and working closely with directors to bring their stories to life. She is currently editing the feature documentary 'Goodbye Breasts'
