I am a creative professional with experience of research, writing, and logistics, with a passion for television and film. described as “industrious, considerate, methodical” by award winning and BAFTA nominated executive producer Simon Goodman. I was praised for “following editorial briefs brilliantly”, as well as being great on location. I have worked across several mainstream channels such as BBC 1, BBC 2, and channel 4, as well as streaming platforms such as Curiosity Stream.

Casting
I have experience in sourcing diverse and interesting contributors, conducting contributor interviews, and writing contributor biogs, all in line with GDPR compliance. I have a background in trauma informed spaces and take contributor welfare very seriously, especially when working with vulnerable contributors. I have previously worked with disabled adults and children between the ages of 9-14. I understand and uphold the importance of having contributor agreements and release forms correctly filled in and completed as soon as possible, both for the informed consent of the contributor and the protection of the production.

Background checks
Experience doing brief social media checks and general google checks, and would love the opportunity to expand my knowledge to include more in depth checks involving Factavia. 

Fact checking
Familiar with and have experience in ensuring content meets good practice guidelines. Able to identify sources in line with BBC standards. 

Location
I've plenty experience sourcing locations, getting in contact with them, and making sure location agreements have been signed as soon as possible. I have a keen eye for detail, and will ensure that all locations sourced are a good fit for the specific needs of the production.

Organisation
It goes without saying that you need to be organised if you want to work in production, and I am no exception! I always make sure that the information I present is clear, consise, colour coded, and in the correct production folder. 

On set experience
I have plenty of on-set experience, and have gained a multitude of skills during my time on location. I have experience setting up and breaking down lights, C-stands, wrapping cables, data wrangling and DIT (Henge, Shot Put Pro), and keeping shot notes. I am always eager to learn new skills. Most importantly, I know that a well fed crew is a happy crew and will ensure there's always a few good snacks around.

Shooting and editing
I am experienced in self shooting, specifically with FS7 and more recently FX9 cameras. I am able to edit on Premier Pro software and a proud owner of my very own Adobe subscription. I have prior experience as a 2nd AC. 

DIT
I have experience data wrangling, DITing, and keeping up to date rushes logs on multi-cam shoots (Gardeners World - BBC 2, 80s Supermarket - Channel 5, Science for Evil Geniuses - Curiosity Stream). I am thorough, organised, and always make sure to check data has been transferred properly. Read Less
