Robin is a wildlife cameraperson with strong research skills and a knowledgable naturalist. He specialises in long lens topside work and is adept af fieldcraft. He is experienced with the use of Phantom 4K Flex, RED, Sony FX6, FS7 rigs including CN20 50-1000mm lens. Underwater, he is proficient in the setup and operation of Gates housings and a variety of RED and Arri cameras including the V Raptor and RED Deep Weapon rig.  Robin is also an HSE IV Commercial diver with PADI Rescue and Pure Apnea Freediver Level 1. He is experienced diving with marine megafauna, especially sharks.

In 2023 he graduated from the National Film & Television School. His two student films 'Painted Blue' and 'The Halcyon Days' won awards including 'Best Newcomer Award 2023' at Greenscreen Festival and 'Best Short Film 2023' at Wildlife Film Festival Rotterdam for the latter. 'The Halcyon Days' footage was also used as a VT about kingfishers for a 5-minute short piece in 'Springwatch 2023'.

 Before getting into filmmaking he studied Zoology at the University of Exeter, he worked as a freelance wildlife & surf photographer and camera trainee/runner for Bladesman Productions, and has an extensive background working in the field of shark research, including working as an ecotourism guide for 'Blue Shark Snorkel, Penzance' for the last three years.
