Returning to Television after a career break to raise my family, I am keen to change my production role from Assistant Producer to Production Coordinator. I have a wealth of experience in editorial but am now focused on production management and have applied myself to extensive training to bring myself up to scratch with all the requirements. I have attended numerous training courses through Screenskills, Media Career Advice, The Production Managers Association and Pitman Training. My previous broadcast experience has been predominantly in factual programming for BBC2, working out of BBC Manchester and BBC TV Center, London. As an AP I researched stories, locations, contributors, archive and music; I set up shoots liaising with production management, looked after presenters, contributors and crew on location, assisted directors and producers with script writing, fact checking and translating. I also had experience self shooting two observational documentary films for the digital channel BBC Knowledge. I am a fluent French speaker with a 2:1 degree in French from Bristol University.
