During this time, I volunteered with a charity in Fiji and explored the wonderous Japan. The pandemic brought me back to England, where I gained a PGCE in Secondary school Mathematics teaching.I now have a real desire to find a purposeful job that lends itself to my analytical skillset but ultimately is hands on, challenging and offers opportunities to make a difference to a company from the offset. I see this opportunity in TV production, specifically in production management. I believe that my problem-solving skills as a Mathematician, together with my commercial experience and natural skillset, are transferable to the role.I pride myself in communicating effectively and managing multiple opinions to give everyone a voice. Recent years spent teaching have developed my resilience, adaptability, and aptitude in organisation. My ability to create high levels of trust with students and consistently motivate them, is what I believe underpinned my success.During a yearlong placement at Goldman Sachs, I was pushed to think on my feet during discussions and pitches, develop and be accountable for my ideas, and tackle problems in pressured circumstances. I am a true team player both in and outside the workplace, whether it be supporting colleagues when work starts to pile up or at tournaments with my local netball team.As an avid traveller I have the ability and experience to adapt to the diversity of cultures, be agile in change scenarios and ultimately be proactive to take the initiative in challenging environments. I’m also an adrenaline junkie. I’ve bungee jumped backwards, skydived, and swam with sharks (without a cage). Production Management is the next adventure in my sights, and I would truly love the opportunity to learn from all that a production team has to offer.
