I have always had a keen interest in sport, both participating in and watching as well as having a keen interest in broadcasting the use of statistics. I enrolled on a university course in September 2017 at the University of Suffolk and graduating with an integrated masters in 2021. the title of my degree is, master of science in performance analysis for football.The knowledge, skills and experience I gained during my four years at University prepared me well for the transition into professional work. I developed an analytical approach to my work with attention to detail and accuracy a fundamental principle of mine. I take a calm and measured approach which helps me to perform well under pressureMy role working with the Lawn Tennis Association where I collected match data for professional players, was a great opportunity from which I learned and developed as a working professional. Working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment adhering to strict deadlines, is a role I enjoyed. The role taught me the high standards and attention to detail required in professional sport. I continually strive to improve and progress in my career. I was one of a limited number of colleagues who collected data on singles, doubles, and wheelchair matches, all of which had differences in how the data was collected.Due to the fast-paced nature of live TV, my current role with IMG has enhanced my ability to work as part of a team and under pressure with a strong attention to detail.With the support of my tutor, Dr. Mikael Jamil, my undergraduate dissertation project was published in an internationally renowned journal. This exceeded expectations and was achieved through good time management, dedication, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for the subject.
