I'm an award-winning self-shooting PD and edit producer, specialising in documentary and factual-entertainment series. My work has appeared on numerous platforms including the BBC, CNN, PBS and NBC. Recently I was the lead PD for a 75-minute special for the BBC, that required directing five separate crews, presenters and celebrity guests, all while managing up to 70 people on location.

Over the course of my career I have consistently demonstrated my proficiency in crafting compelling and engaging stories. I'm an excellent shooter with a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of narrative structure and am used to working under extreme time pressure to meet tight deadlines. I have extensive experience filming and handling the logistics of overseas shoots and I am used to adapting to unpredictable environments.

After leaving the US military in 2008 I completed my Journalism MA at Falmouth University. Over the next decade I worked as a director, edit producer, cameraman, editor and drone operator for CNN, NBC News, Al Jazeera America, Euronews, APTN and Bloomberg.

I produced, shot and edited breaking news, documentaries, high-profile interviews - such as with Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky - and covered everything from the Syrian refugee crisis and European terror attacks to the death of Nelson Mandela and the London Olympics. Over the past five years I have moved into directing longer form factual entertainment and documentary series for the BBC and other broadcasters.

I'm HEFAT and BOSIET qualified and I have experience working in multiple hostile environments including Iraq, Syria and Ukraine where I won a du-Pont Columbia award for my coverage of the war. I'm a dual citizen with both British and US passports, with the right to work in both countries.
