I am a highly skilled Makeup Artist and I have been training and working in the industry for 8 years. I am naturally hard-working and have a passion for what I do. I am professional and friendly and I am proactive and positive, whether working alone or as part of a team. I am proud of what I have achieved and I have a desire to produce an excellent outcome in my work.  In terms of education and relevant qualifications, I hold a BA Honours Degree in Make-Up and Hair Design which I gained from Southampton Solent University. This degree has given me experience in a wide variety of areas, including ‘special effects’ and prosthetic makeup, editorial makeup, makeup for photographic commissions, film, television, theatre and period makeup and body art and personalised makeup services.Previous to my three-year degree, I also took a one-year Diploma in Hair and Media Makeup from Gloucester College. I am currently taking a further year-long online ‘P Louise Pro’ makeup course to continue to expand my skill base.   Whilst at university, I worked for MAC Cosmetics as a retail artist; upon returning home from university, I took on a managerial role at Urban Decay.  Since then, I have been working as a freelance makeup artist (alongside full time employment) where I mainly provide personalised makeup services for events and weddings.  Due to high demand I have experienced for makeup services, I am now leaving my full time employment in order to focus more fully on the role of freelance makeup artist and more specifically, to fulfill my passion for film/tv and editorial work.
