I am a first year Post Production and Visual Effects student at Falmouth University passionate about all things post production!I started my journey to Postproduction and Visual Effects when I got a work experience placement as an editor for Warpline, where I became competent in the fundamentals of editing to a brief, editing adverts for Sales Force and Traffi Gloves. In that same year I also got a work experience placement shadowing an electrical engineer at UKAEA Culham Facility. More recently, I have been maintaining a website for Nicki Thornton and am competent in Wordpress. I have also been working alongside a volunteer group with BBOWT to maintain a local nature reserve for over 6 years and have recently become a first aider and brush cutter certified. We have reduced invasive species of flora (such as the himalayan balsam) tremendously thanks to our efforts.During July and August I worked on set on 2 professional productions as an extra, which has greatly improved my understanding of film production.After these experiences, I realised that what I love most is post production. It is the perfect blend of creativity and technical skill. I adore all aspects of my course and look forward to working alongside my studies. Read Less
