I am a storyteller, a creative leader and a BAFTA award-winning (and EMMY nominated) Executive Producer. I’m an expert in shaping digital-first strategy, building content propositions across multiple platforms and the range of approaches and formats needed to deliver success in the emerging IP-led media landscape.

In 2015 I joined The Economist to spearhead its move into video, developing the strategy, conceiving and building a globally respected production unit and pioneering the production of low-cost, high quality premium video content. My expertise in viewer engagement was instrumental in delivering sustained growth in both audience and revenue.

I am experienced at managing multiple stakeholders in the creation of compelling content–whether editorial, branded or brand-funded. I am also highly effective at navigating change–whether leading teams through digital transformation or responding to the emergence of a fast-growing new platform or AI tool.

I have executive produced hundreds of documentaries and shorter films and videos, work which reflects my strong editorial judgement and builds on over twenty years prior experience as a filmmaker for a host of global broadcasters, including BBC, Channel 4, Nat Geo, Discovery and PBS. Read Less
