I’m an Albanian-born and raised in Greece early-career journalist with firsthand experience of displacement, passionate about investigating migration, fraud, climate issues, and underreported crises. My background brings unique insight into stories of rebuilding lives away from home. At my previous role as communications coordinator at eyeWitness to Atrocities, I explored how digital documentation can support justice for atrocity crimes. As part of my MA in Investigative Journalism at City, University of London, I’ve been researching unregulated immigration advice and the legal limbo facing displaced communities. I bring a hardworking attitude to my work, gaining access to sensitive contributors and negotiating difficult locations. I’m skilled in pitching original ideas and fact-checking, ensuring the highest quality and ethical journalism.

Drawing from my background and coursework in Contemporary Middle Eastern Studies, I focus particularly on stories from the MENA region, the Balkans, Turkey, and Europe.
