I trained as an actor at LIPA before moving behind the camera, and that grounding in performance has shaped how I direct and produce ever since – I know how to get the best out of a contributor or talent on camera, and how to keep a shoot calm and controlled when the schedule is tight.

I started out writing and directing short films and working as a camera operator/editor on corporate content, which led to a role as a filmmaker at the Royal National Theatre – producing everything from BTS video diaries to fundraising films for major sponsors. From there I moved into entertainment television as a Shooting PD on the online versions of The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent, working at pace across live studio and location environments.

I went on to found my own production company, vloop, where I've spent over a decade producing high-end BTS and companion content for AMC's McMafia, Into the Badlands and The Terror, alongside branded and social-first video for clients including BuzzFeed, Google and Capgemini.

Across two decades I've worked in newsrooms, live entertainment formats, drama sets and branded content studios – so I'm equally comfortable directing a contributor, running a crew, or managing a schedule and budget end-to-end. I also have teaching experience (DV8 Training, BFI Film Academy), which keeps me sharp on communicating clearly under pressure.

I'm available for short-term contracts, part-time/fractional roles, or ad-hoc cover – typically 1–2 days a week alongside other commitments. Read Less
