I was originally drama school trained, graduating in 2004, and since then have written a variety of pieces in various forms. I am a cinephile who, of course, has a great passion for well scripted and well produced drama and this is the form I most like to work in.For the past six years I have been developing my craft my studying produced screenplays, writing features and reading informative works by Daniel Calvisi, Blake Snyders and Syd Field. I have just completed my fifth feature screenplay and have had various degrees of success in contests and am about to embark on writing a four-part television drama series.Over the years I have had a varied professional working life where I have met people from all walks of life and travelled to many places. This has filled my creative well and offers me the resources and experience to come up with new ideas and offer solutions to problem scripts.I have also just graduated with an MA in creative writing from the University of Derby and am looking for opportunities to work with scripted drama for TV or Film as an assistant script editor.
