Having graduated from university in 2019 with a Business and Management degree, I always knew my love for film and television would never stray away. I always wanted to pursue a career in production however my family disagreed and wanted me to choose a career in the corporate world. After a few internships and jobs in the corporate, I found myself not enjoying it. I went to work for my father in his restaurant as I needed to change my surroundings. My first job within the field was on a feature called Raven's Hollow and came on during Pre Production and was a Production Assistant throughout the shoot. This was achieved through networking at the restaurant and my first role in the industry was through that. My time as a Production Assistant also led me to a role with the Producer and her Sales Agency. Within the role of Sales and Marketing Coordinator, I aided in applying the film to numerous film festivals and setting up meetings with distributors. In August of this year, I parted ways with the company as I wanted to jump back into production. Within a few days of working in the restaurant, I met and introduced myself to the 2nd AD of a show called Top Chef which was shooting in London. Explaining my experience I became a Production Assistant for Top Chef Season 20 which was shot from August to October. Read Less
