I have over a decade of experience in broadcast post-production, primarily serving as an Edit Assistant (EA) on blue-chip natural history productions. My extensive knowledge of post-production culminated in my leadership of the EA department for the recent BBC super-landmark series, Asia.

My role on Asia has been both fulfilling and diverse, requiring the development of advanced knowledge in end-to-end workflows. This includes everything from kit research and procurement, to UHD delivery and external vendor liaison. Throughout my career, I have gained in-depth insights into various challenges and their solutions. I have collaborated closely with post-production facilities to establish detailed workflows that minimize technical risks from the outset. I am a comfortable and efficient team member, capable of operating just as effectively independently. I take pride in providing constructive and supportive feedback to colleagues, empowering and inspiring both the project and my peers.

As an experienced EA, I am acutely focused on the importance of detailed and accurate protocol management. This encompasses preserving the security of media, maintaining post-production equipment, and ensuring that logs are consistently updated. Diligence in these areas is vital for a smooth and successful production. My work on several landmark natural history series, along with collaborations with independent production companies and post-production facilities, has equipped me with a wealth of experience across all aspects of production and post-production.
