I am a highly experienced Producer, P/D, Locations Director and Edit Producer with over 20 years in the Industry. Having spent a number of years working in TV Advertising and Digital content for Major UK and International brands, I am retuning to my natural home of programme making specialising Edit Producing. My main areas of expertise and credits are in reality and Obs Doc/ Character Driven programmes relating to (but not exclusively) in Property, Interior Design, Gardens and Travel. I have worked extensively in the UK and Worldwide as a Director, P/D and Edit Producer managing large and small projects, often launching new travel and interior design shows as well as handling long running series including trouble shooting challenging Series and episodes. I am an excellent storyteller, shaping narrative themes and story arc from actuality even when the raw material in itself, offers little in the way of entertainment value, and I am a well known 'rescuer' of the seemingly 'unusable' episode or storyline. I have Produced Prime time Obs Doc and formatted seres for BBC 1 and BBC2 many requiring multi-layered stories and contrasting characters across a number of locations. I work hard and have a "whatever it takes" attitude to the project at hand. My ability to manipulate programme structure and paper edit with clarity means I am able to control multiple edits if necessary and I have a natural ability to write entertaining and engaging voice over for any given character. I am a creative thinker who faces any kind of production obstacle with clarity and vision. I am calm under pressure which makes me a natural choice for fast turnaround or problematic projects.I enjoy working with teams either on location, in the production office or in the edit suite and am well versed in up to the minute production practises and work flow. Having worked in a number of Producer roles, I have excellent editorial judgement and am well versed in handling sensitive material as well as understanding legal framework.
