Credits include: “Crash of Flight 111” for NOVA, “Dangerous Prescription” for Frontline, “Surviving Mars” for Discovery Channel (edited on location in the North Pole), plus numerous shows for History Channel, NAT GEO and NBC Sports. Recently Mark was the finishing editor working directly with David Fanning on the Frontline program “In the Age of AI.” He has also collaborated with director Thom Draudt on several award-winning festival shorts. One of these films, “The Hustle Is Real,” won Best Short Documentary at the 2020 Monmouth Film Festival.
Leveraging the real-world of today’s post-production workflows, Mark is also an educator. As a professor, Avid Certified Instructor and Adobe Premiere Pro trainer he has taught classes for students from various backgrounds, countries, and news organizations such as: CNN, Al Jazeera, Fort Bragg’s Kennedy School of Special Warfare and members of the White House Communications staff. He also lectures at Boston University and Emerson College and has taught at The Maine International Film Television Workshops, Harvard’s Department of Art, Film, and Visual Studies and for Future Media Concepts.
