I'm a screenwriter based in Manchester. I love narrative, and the idea of being part of a collaborative team who truly loves what they do, and wants to impact large audiences. I've always loved writing - I self-published a novella when I was 9 years old! - and never stopped writing since. Throughout my time at university and during my masters, I assisted on many microbudget film shoots and loved 1st AD-ing and script supervising there. I have a soft spot for drama, but I believe story transcends genre and I'd love the opportunity to work on any project with an emphasis on powerful storytelling. I wrote a play which was performed by Golden Hour Theatre last year. I am also a delegate of the Edinburgh TV Festival 2022's The Network talent scheme, and attended the festival and co-wrote an episode of Hollyoaks which was performed live by the actors themselves.I would love the opportunity to gain more experience as a runner, a producer's assistant, a script reader or any other entry-level role on an exciting project.
