Yasmine is a passionate Egyptian music composer, film composer, singer and songwriter possessing a strong background in music and sound production. She has a special intrest in composing music for wildlife documentaries.
Yasmine’s musical journey turned out to be little bit different, it actually started with her passion for photography and filmmaking. Yasmine’s bachelor degree was in Media Management and after graduating she joined a filmmaking program in which she directed her own documentary film that participated in several film festivals. During this year she discovered her passion for composing music for films and she composed music for several short films that participated in festivals as well. This led her to pursue a master’s degree in music composition for film and TV at the University of Bristol. Yasmine also participated in several online music programs funded by the US Embassy, such as YES Academy (Youth Excellence on Stage) and AMA (American Music Abroad). Moreover, she has been nominated as a composer from the middle east to participate in a music program next November for 10 days in Cleveland, US. Yasmine is currently based in Bristol, UK, perusing her career as a music and film composer. Read Less
