I have edit produced across a diverse mix of genres, from engineering to history and true crime, investigative journalism to food, wildlife to antiques and clip shows to celebrity ob doc. I have helped shape new series, cut short VTs and long form, including a feature length true crime doc.
I write compelling VO and bring out the best of the rushes and contributors. Broadcasters include ABC, Discovery, CBS, Channel 4, Channel 5, Yesterday and BBC1.
Recently I have worked on a new human/animal series, cutting 30+ stories and writing the series tease and on a true crime series where there was no VO.

Starting my career in science at Pioneer Productions I went on to work at the BBC, first in science and then Arts and Music for BBC4 and BBC2. Later with a long stint at Blink Films, I have shot and directed actuality / scripted sequences and interviews; and directed both contributors and crews. I have US / UK credits in history, science, arts, music, fact ent, ob doc, true crime and drama doc.
My production skills range from contributor and character finding, scripting, structuring stories, engaging academics and professional experts, setting up and shooting here and abroad and managing budgets.
I have filmed worldwide including Iceland, USA, Bahamas, Russia, Ethiopia and Brazil and worked with presenters including Alan Yentob and David Suchet. Read Less
