Casting:I cast Channel 4's new Primetime show Your Song and the upcoming Cunk On Cinema series for Netflix and the BBC.
I have experience of street casting, social media outreach, targeted outreach, phone bashing, research calls, zoom calls, editing, shooting casting tapes, background checks, welfare tracking and chaperoning.
Forward Planning:
Arranged shoots for Cunk On Cinema and Ash Holme: What Not To Do With Dad.
Archive:As an archive researcher, I've worked on archive dense-projects such as Sandpaper Films’ feature doc Andrew Tate and the Dark Side of the Internet, Mindhouse’s music documentary Boybands Forever for BBC2 and on Two Rivers’ fashion doc Icons of Style.
I've sourced and cleared archive from national, international, private lirbaries and collections. I have worked with UGC and have a sound understanding of fair dealing. I've worked across multiple edits at once. I can cost and work with EDLs.
Development:I helped develop a talent-led format commissioned as part of ITV’s slate for Black History Month, Ash Holme: What Not To Do With Dad, at Postcard Productions.
I can write toplines and treatments, create decks and edit sizzles. I also have a keen eye for emerging digital talent who translate to linear well to TV.
Training:I have training for shooting on an FS7 and using Avid, I also carried out Mad Dogs TV Self Shooter Gurus camera training, and DV Talent's Essential Skills for TV Researchers. I was part of Screenskills' x Mission Accomplished's Development Researcher Programme and FOCAL International's Archive Mentoring Programme. I am also first aid trained.
Outside of TV:Before TV, I worked in hospitality and various administration roles, so I'm a confident communicator, both in person and over the phone. I was also a nanny for a year; I really enjoy working with children and I find that kids will quickly feel comfortable around me.
