Hello there, My name is Divine Vika, I am a class of 2021 Multimedia Journalism graduate. I am experienced in journalism story sourcing and telling - I am experienced in editing on Adobe Premier Pro as well as editing on PhotoShop. As I have a background in journalism, I worked on my University news team called the Northern Quota where, I was able to accumulate and build on different skills such as researching, sourcing, producing and writing for different news stories. As of recent, I have successfully completed a 12 week digital creative course by the Andy Taylor Foundation, partnered with SharpFutures. I was able to complete the second half of the programme with a placement at LADbible group , as video journalist and desk producer. I was responsible for sourcing stories for the different LADbible brands, pitching and reaching out to contributors. I also worked on piecing together the story and editing the story for a final product to be published.Working in vast range of groups and environments, I have gained invaluable experience working with different people, groups and teams. I have a great experience in fashion retail, that has helped me build up my interpersonal skills as well contacts. I have a great passion for the creative industry - as I have many ideas to share.
