I ensure the post-production team are looked after so they can work as efficiently as possible During my time as a post-production runner, I have the opportunity to practice my skills in television logging and shadow editors, data-wranglers and loggers. I'm excited to see what I can learn and where this job will take me!This year, I graduated from the University of Portsmouth achieving my BSc (Hons) in Television and Broadcasting with an Upper Second Class. Through my course, I worked in a variety of roles within television such as director, vision mixer, floor manager, camera operator, PA and social media manager.
As are a lot of jobs in television production, most of my work was done in teams. I feel I have gained so much confidence in group work and I have been comfortable in leadership roles as well as careful and attentive when taking instructions. In 2018, I completed a Level 3 Extended Diploma Media course, for which I received D*D*D. I have developed skills in film and TV production such as camera operation, editing, directing and producing. My course in Film and TV lead me to become part of a project producing a professional video. I worked as part of a small group to produce a testimonial video for Corona Energy. My role in this project was sound operator, where my work was heavily relied on since we were conducting interviews and needed good quality audio for this.
