Lighting Camera Operator and Drone Operator. Background in documentary and branded content for theatrical, online and broadcast. Enthusiastic team player, good at quickly creating rapport with contributors, and technically proficient camera operator shooting with Sony FS7, FX9, FX6 and Canon C300. Drone operator with GVC and Operational Authorisation from the CAA, flying DJI Mini 4 Pro. Looking for work both as a shooter-for-hire on a day-to-day basis and for longer contracts.

Experience filming with vulnerable subjects where building trust and working alone or with a small crew is preferable.

Recent work includes directing a VT for BBC Scotland’s A View From The Terrace, and a documentary short, Racing Stock, which was selected for the Scottish Documentary Institute’s Bridging The Gap scheme for emerging directors, and commissioned by Screen Scotland, premiering at Glasgow Film Festival.

I have also produced, directed and edited a number of branded content commercials for organisations including Sky Arts, National Railway Museum, Oxfam, Glen’s Vodka, and London School of Economics, working with agencies including Leith, The Union and Consider Creative.

Sony FX6 owner operator, filming with prime lenses and zooms, lighting and grip, to suit a range of different filming scenarios. I also run Hedge on my MacBook Pro for ingesting rushes, with Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve for editing.

Based in Edinburgh, Scotland, have a clean driving licence and own transport, and available for work across Scotland, the UK, and worldwide.
