I am an NCTJ trained journalist with 8 years experience working as a specialist conservation & natural history storyteller.Having spent 3 years in production at a commercials agency in the UK, I followed my passion for wildlife to Asia to work primarily for WWF: researching, producing and working on location to tell stories from across the region.I have led on many short films for WWF, and have a proven track record of making science accessible and finding compelling contributors who are able to bring wildlife into the homes and hearts of a global audience. This has included setting up international shoots and working on location in remote and challenging environments (including the Sundarbans mangrove forest and wetlands of Myanmar's Ayeyarwady Delta); often leading on budgets, risk assessments and other production management tasks. I have also taken several projects through post production.More recently I have transitioned into broadcast documentary, working for a UK-based production company as an Assistant Producer on a 48-minute, access-driven current affairs documentary shooting in Indonesia.
