Hello! I'm a camera trainee based in Bolton and Leeds. As a recent Northern Film School graduate with 1st Class honours, I have just started to enter full time employment. Most recently, I have been gimbal operator / 2nd AC (and 2nd Unit 1st AC) on the independent feature film 'The Reckoning of Erin Morrigan'. We worked on the Arri Alexa Classic & SXT with Canon CP2 Primes / Xeen Primes. I operated the Ronin RS2 / RSC2 with the Sony A7iii (w/ CP2s) and Panasonic GH5 (w/ Lumix 12-60mm). We filmed in difficult conditions and locations, including Malin Head (Ireland) with a small camera crew.Student Academy Awards 2022: Most notably, the graduation film I wrote, did VFX for and was 1st AD on got nominated for a Student Academy Award 2022 (Experimental/Alternative Category) in LA.I have worked in the film industry since I was 16 as a Supporting Artist, gradually branching out and trying crew roles. From 12 I made little homemade VFX clips - such as superman lift-off; Harry Potter wand battles; Doctor Strange portal effects; etc. Looking back they were janky to say the least! But they gave me a good understanding of the basics of VFX.
