Having cut my teeth during covid I now have moved across long form, entertainment, commercials and documentaries. My most recent doc was Production Assistant & Runner – Stacey: Going to War 1x45’ BBC Three & True Vision Fronted by reporter and journalist Stacey Dooley, this highly-sensitive documentary follows the lives of Ukrainian civilians training to become volunteer soldiers on the frontline. With exclusive and unprecedented access to the military programme led by the UK armed forces in England, I played a key role in supporting the producer-director and shooting producer not only on location (which included challenging working conditions such as extreme weather, emotional distress and long hours), but also with the preparation of the sound and video kit ahead of shoot days, as well as whilst filming with contributors.Being of the age I am there are sp many transferable skills from reading the room and lots of times preempting things before they happen. As a mother of 5 I am well versed in tantrums and being diplomatic yet firm when needed. I really enjoy running both on the floor and in the production office as a Production Assistant. I have looked after high profile talent as well as clients, from booking travel to arranging dinners and days out. I like people! Read Less
