He has most recently worked as part of the writing team that developed the dramas Heartbreak High (Netflix) and Significant Others (ABC) for Fremantle Australia. As a key member of those writers’ rooms as note taker, he worked alongside acclaimed writers Hannah Carroll Chapman and Tommy Murphy, and also wrote story and pitch documents. Whilst there he also worked in scripted development, as a script reader and has a keen eye for emerging talent.His first short film, Amsterdam (2017), premiered at the Melbourne Queer Film Festival and has since been viewed online 1.3+ million times. His second film, One Night Only (2017), premiered at Frameline Film Festival in San Francisco, the world’s largest LGBT+ film festival. It later screened at nine international film festivals and has since been distributed by New Queer Visions Media.His short film script The Distance Between Us was longlisted for a Monte Miller Award from the Australian Writers’ Guild. He also has extensive experience in Post Production, having worked for six years with major production companies Warner Bros. Australia, Endemol Shine Australia and Screentime. He has an Honours degree in Media Arts and Production from UTS and continues to develop his own scripted work.
