With a master’s in neurobiology from the University of Oxford, Eduardo brings an analytical mindset and a keen attention to detail to his research work, particularly excelling in fact-checking, script editing, archive sourcing, contributor interviewing and story development. His background in science and biology enhances his ability to approach sensitive subjects with precision, especially in the criminology and medical fields.
Eduardo's professional journey has seen him contribute to a range of high-profile productions. He has worked as a researcher at Minnow Films, contributing to the BAFTA-winning 'Atomic People'. Hie also supported research across Hulu’s 'Web of Death' and Channel 5’s 'Ten Steps to Disaster' whilst at Blink Films UK, where he assisted in story ideation across the development and editorial departments. Additionally, he worked at MakeWaves as key researcher in CNN’s environmental documentary 'Blue Carbon', which aired at COP28, showcasing his versatility in documentary formats beyond crime and history.
A first-generation Latin American immigrant, Eduardo’s diverse perspective and language fluency in Spanish (both European and South American) and French are valuable assets for international projects, contributors, and archive research.
