Although Theology may sound like a niche and inconsequential subject, it has provided me with many important skills which I perceive to be readily transferable to the role. What differentiates Theology from the other humanities is its discussion and exploration of intangible, ambiguous concepts. The ability to cut through such nebulous concepts and construct a logical, succinct, and persuasive argument is analogous to the need to comprehend convoluted scripts, production casting, and even directorial issues and achieve the desired aim of creating a true masterpiece. A core component of modern Theological study is the rigorous analysis of historical texts. This includes seeking an unbiased and non-dogmatic understanding of highly charged religious writings by seeking to understand the text’s contemporary, social and political influences. I believe this training in rigorous, independent, and critical analysis can add value when assessing the intricate issues of crafting compelling storylines and dealing with the complications of the production process. My experience at Byfield Consultancy has developed my skills in both internal and external communications. I achieved consistent, invaluable media relations for my clients in leading publications such as The Times, Sky News, BBC, The FT, The Guardian, Reuters, and The Telegraph. Further to this, I constructed communication strategies, brand management, and reputation counsel for each of my clients. Although I enjoyed my time at Byfield I did not share the passion for the legal sector and I know production is where my passion lies. This has been a constant passion in my life since my time at school where I acted, directed, produced, stage managed and worked in both light/sound in over 20 productions across 5 years. This saw me not only achieve A* in all my A-Level Drama and Theatre studies modules but saw me achieve the role of “Keeper of the Stage” aka Head of Theatre Productions in which I aided the Director of the Theatre ( Scott Handy) in managing all productions in my final year.I am an aspiring leader and offer key strengths in communication, critical thinking, and building relationships. With a strong commitment to personal development and goal achievement, I am well-versed in streamlining processes, driving efficiency, and encouraging team performance. I am eager to utilize my entrepreneurial-minded approach to support the creation of resourceful solutions. With a passion for all things film and TV, I believe contributing to this industry would be exceptionally rewarding across both the corporate and creative sides. Not only am I eager for work experience but I would be incredibly keen to solidify any longer-term positions. Thank you for your time and consideration of my profile. If you would like additional information about my background and skills, please feel free to contact me.
