With my background in science, I am analytical and love solving problems but I am also a creative thinker who loves to find new storylines and transform ideas into reality. I am curious and love digging into new topics and finding interesting content.
My background is in ecology and nature conservation, and last February I graduated with an M.Sc. in Behaviour, Evolution and Conservation with a specialization in Geosciences, Ecology and Environment from the University of Lausanne (Switzerland). This has given me a lot of insight into research fields such as environmental science, geosciences, hydrology, and especially ecology, wildlife, and nature conservation. Additionally, I have a B.Sc. in biology and molecular biology from Uppsala University (Sweden). With this background, I have broad and thorough knowledge in general biology but also genetics and chemistry. During my studies, I realized that I have a very strong passion for scientific communication and engagement. With my background, I believe I can contribute with in-depth and dedicated research work for scientific documentaries.Personally, I am independent, organized, methodical, and I work very well in teams. When problems or new deadlines arise, I can organize my time, think laterally, and find solutions. With my experience working in different countries, industries, and group constellations, I am confident in most settings, and I am responsive to different audiences. I value communication skills highly, both for professional relationships, but also for presenting information and science. Identifying the target audience and presenting information to them in the best way, is why I find scientific communication engaging.I love being outdoors in nature, and I am also a keen outdoor sports enthusiast who loves skiing, climbing, alpinism, paragliding, hiking, and biking. Spending most of my free time outdoors is also what makes me so passionate about nature conservation, environmental work, and wildlife protection. Growing up in Sweden, the accessibility of nature was something I took for granted but after living abroad and meeting people from many different backgrounds and nationalities I have learned that the accessibility of nature (in a sustainable and equal way) is something we should all promote.Feel free to contact me if you want to know more about me.
