I'm an award-winning Self-Shooting Producer Director & Editor with seven years of experience in the documentary and NGO sectors and a passion for creative and impactful storytelling. I'm also co-director of production company Fig Films.With four years experience producing hard-hitting international films for the British Red Cross, I am significantly trained to create powerful work with people facing life-altering trauma in a way that is both ethical and rewarding. I have filmed extensively in complex international environments such as Syria and Bangladesh, and on sensitive topics such as human trafficking. I am a personable and compassionate interviewer who always prioritises the wellbeing of contributors so that they feel comfortable, valued and in control - all the while unearthing the most compelling angles so that their stories shine and engage wide audiences.As well as producing and managing crews, I am a confident self-shooter with my own Sony FS5 kit. I have a keen eye for strong visuals, compelling stories, and fresh multimedia approaches.
