Since creating and co-directing my own film festival in Manchester as a student, I have spent the last five years working on single and series programmes for BBC and Channel 4, varying from true crime, investigative pieces, ob-docs and series formats.
I am available as both a Shooting Assistant Producer, and more recently an Editor. 

I was an Assistant Producer for Channel 4's feature-length documentary 'Lyra' (2022), about the life and death of acclaimed journalist Lyra McKee, which collected the Tim Hetherington Award at Sheffield Doc Fest 2022, was BIFA nominated, and won a Grierson, AIB, Broadcast, Prix Europa and multiple festival audience awards over the last year. During this time, I also made my directorial debut for my short 'Ireland's Last Matchmaker’, funded by BFI and NI Screen, which won ‘Best Short Documentary’ at Docs Ireland Film Festival and screened in festivals across Europe.

In between working for multiple jobs for broadcasting networks, I produced and edited 'The Ban' (2024), an archive film exploring Margaret Thatcher's controversial broadcasting ban of 1988 and its legacy. This has been screened in multiple BAFTA and OSCAR-qualifying film festivals, holding its international premiere at IDFA in Amsterdam. It had sell out screenings at Bertha Doc House in London, and will be in competition at London Short Film Festival in early 2025.

I have developed projects that have been selected to participate in film festival marketplaces such as Dok Leipzig, Hot Docs and Docs Ireland, where I have gained experience pitching ideas to commissioners and distributers from across the world.

I am a self-shooter trained on Canon C300 Mark II and Sony Fx6, have experience sourcing and working closely with contributors, and I have proficient experience using Avid Media Composer for editing. Read Less
