I have always pushed myself within the creative industry with the goal to broaden my skillset, efficiency of processes and understanding of the creative industry. This has been the primary catalyst for me to teach myself as much as I can. You can learn so much from the world around you if you just stop and listen to someone or something for 5 minutes. This attitude has allowed me to continuously add to my own capabilities and has lead me to become proficient in a host of different types of software. With 15 years combined music experience, I am able to compose, mix and master my own music tailored specifically for the project I am working on. Audio is equally as important as the visuals when it comes to creating different forms of media and I believe that music is something that can generate emotion within the consumer in a way that no other element can.
Legally, my ability to compose and score has allowed me to manoeuvre around copyright infringement whilst also providing a bespoke experience for freelance clients.Regardless of my own abilities, some things cannot be achieved without teamwork.
As someone with good leadership skills, I excel when it comes to fulfilling any production role. Teamwork is key within 99% of projects and as someone who appreciates this, I fall seamlessly into a team of likeminded, passionate people!People are important to me, especially teammates and colleges. A close friend of mine once said:'Everyone surrounding you will know something that you don't, so always listen.' ~ Terryand that's something I bring into all areas of work.
