I’m a diligent and enthusiastic senior AP / Producer Director with credits for Channel 4, Sky Arts, the BBC, and Channel 5, mainly in factual entertainment on subjects including property, art, and travel. I started out in corporate video production, which honed my short-form storytelling skills, before moving into broadcast in 2018, working initially in production and then editorial, giving me a thorough understanding of programme making. My first researcher role was on ‘Novels That Shaped Our World’ for BBC Two, which celebrated 300 years of the novel, and allowed me to draw on my literature background. Since then I have progressed to assistant producer and producer/director, developing casting, scripting, scheduling, interview, and editing skills along the way. I love being on location, and I have set up filming across the UK, Europe, and Australia, with a particular talent for sourcing articulate, witty, and knowledgeable contributors. These have included the former Vice Admiral of the Dutch Navy speaking about life at sea and his interest in maritime artists for ‘Landscape Artist of the Year’, a professor of society and energy talking about renewable energy projects in Orkney, also for ‘LAOTY’, and an expert book dealer at Sotherby’s speaking about the trial copy of 'Lady Chatterley's Lover' for ‘Novels’. 

In 2022, I was invited to be part of the team on the first series of ‘Location Location Location: Australia’ where I was able to work closely with the presenters, series producer, and executive producer to establish a style and tone separate from the UK version. I have an interest in history, arts, literature, travel, and competition shows, and recently PD-ed and edit produced history VTs for Sky Arts’ ‘Landscape Artist of the Year’. In 2024, I completed a course on edit producing, as well as taking part in the Screenskills 'Becoming a Self-Shooting Producer Director' training programme. I am happy to relocate for work.  Read Less
