Ankara-based screenwriter and script editor with my work spanning short and feature films as well as theatre and branded content. I worked previously as a videographer and gaffer on short films, advertising, fashion films, and music videos, providing a practical hands-on experience which helped influence my writing.

I began my career working in theatre as a scriptwriter and creative writing tutor before branching into film and television. My early work in theatre saw me working in Hong Kong for a Shakespeare theatre company adapting classic plays for contemporary Chinese audiences and mentoring young writers in weekly writing workshops. I soon saw success co-writing and assistant directing stage productions - one of which showcased in the International Arts Carnival in 2021 in Hong Kong.

I transitioned into filmmaking in 2022 after moving to London, gaining practical experience as a gaffer and spark for short films, and commercials before branching in cinematography and videography, gaining further experience in music videos, documentary, and fashion. This culminated in me traveling Europe, filming major motorsport events in Le Mans, Nurburgring, and Spa Francorchamps gaining further valuable insight into visual storytelling.

Since then, I’ve written three feature-length screenplays and multiple shorts, blending my shared experiences on and off set and background in theatre with a focus on psychological thrillers and character-driven drama. Read Less
