I am a filmmaker from São Miguel Island in the Azores, Portugal, with over a decade of experience in the industry. My journey began with a VHS camcorder in hand, sparking a passion for storytelling that has grown into a diverse career spanning advertising, music videos, documentaries, fiction, and event aftermovies. I founded Cão de Fila Produções in 2014, a production company dedicated to delivering high-quality work while overcoming the unique challenges of filming in a remote region. My expertise includes roles such as Director, Director of Photography, Camera/Gimbal Operator, and Editor, with extensive experience in improvisation, adapting to unpredictable environments, and managing projects with limited resources.

Most recently, I worked as a 2nd Assistant Camera (B Unit) on Netflix's Turn of the Tide (Seasons 2 and 3), where I collaborated with highly experienced teams and honed my skills in the camera department. Alongside this, I have worked with various camera systems, including Blackmagic, Sony, and Canon, and developed advanced skills in editing, color grading with DaVinci Resolve, and operating gimbals and remote heads.
