I'm a creative individual with a passion for film-making and photography, recently graduating from London South Bank University with a 2:1 degree in film studies. I'm excited to start a career within the film/TV industry and keen to learn as much as I can. My creative outlet is heavily influenced by music videos, because of this, I decided to research the directors behind my favourite music videos where I stumbled across a cinematographer/director known as Hiro Murai, from whom I take much of my inspiration from - career-wise. He started off as a Cinematographer, VFX artist and Illustrator, eventually becoming the director of the popular TV series, Atlanta. I would love to follow in Hiro Murai's footsteps, following a similar pattern to his choice of roles, however, adapting his knowledge and approaching projects with my own creative outlook. While studying, both at college and University I began to delve into my creative approach towards film-making to further explore my own personal style. Taking inspiration from Andre. D. Wagner (photographer) and Sam Brumby (Cinematography/Photographer) I found my aesthetic within film photography as I felt it was truly authentic, encapsulating raw emotion, particularly black and white which I believe puts an emphasis on storytelling, forcing myself to think more about the meaning behind the image.
