I am an experienced Film & Digital Content Producer with over 10 years of extensive experience in the Indian and UK independent film industries. I have developed expertise in South Asian cinema in the UK and am currently working as a Producer at Handshake Media in Birmingham. Additionally, I am a core member of the Producers Forum in Birmingham.

I have produced more than eight short films, which have been screened at over ten festivals, garnering more than three million views. Furthermore, I have created more than 100 short videos for digital platforms, achieving an overall reach of over 100 million in the past five years.

In the last two years, I worked as a consultant at BritAsia TV, the largest South Asian TV channel in the UK, based in Birmingham. My role involved developing content and skill-building programs such as Content Bootcamps, which received an award in 2023 for innovative delivery by Andy Street.

I recently launched my startup, Handshake Media, where I am in the early stages of developing film production and financing for independent films. I am also completing the Step Up HOD program at Mission Accomplished with Screen Skills/Create Central at Digbeth Loc Studios. Additionally, I am participating in the upcoming Film and TV Companies in the Midlands as part of the Create Growth Program, powered by the West Midlands Combined Authority, Creative UK, and Create Central.

My latest short film was nominated for the Community Award at the BAFTA Qualifying Festival, IRIS PRIZE, in Cardiff in 2024. Read Less
