I am a journalist and producer with 12 years working in broadcasting and 5 years' experience in factual TV. I worked as a researcher and then producer in the BBC North East's factual programmes department, predominantly on the Inside Out programme but also as AP on two BBC 2 documentaries. During my time here I won two RTS awards including "Outstanding Journalism". I took a short career break when the Inside Out programme was axed as worked as a Spanish tutor. Last year I moved back into TV and most recently have been working as a researcher for Candour Productions on a Channel 4 documentary about the felling of Sycamore Gap. I have also been assisting on another high-profile documentary which unfortunately I'm not allowed to talk about yet! I speak fluent Spanish and advanced French, as well as basic Portuguese. Read Less
