Experienced Edit Producer with a strong track record in true crime, blue-light, medical, and factual entertainment. I’m used to turning scripts around quickly and writing in a range of tones, from weighty to witty. A safe pair of hands, I can handle large amounts of archive and footage, working to tight deadlines, frequently across multiple edits at once, delivering programmes for UK and US broadcasters and streamers. I’ve often worked on the first series of new formats (including pilot and first episodes), helping to shape their editorial identity, which then evolved into successful returning series.  

Before specialising in Edit Production, my Producer/Director background, including self-shooting and cutting on BAFTA and RTS award-winning series, sharpened my instinct for finding stories and bringing out their key elements. I feel this is shown by the number of times I've been asked back to do long stints on returning series. Often having to manage sensitive access and interviewing people in high-stakes environments, I would say I'm calm under pressure, collaborative and easy to work with (something you quickly learn to be when filming in emergency departments, police cars, coastguard helicopters...) Alongside the straight factual formats, I also enjoy the variety of light-hearted one-liner scripting and cutting for Fact Ent.  Read Less
