Now in my final semester of university, studying Film Production, this passion has rooted and grown.I am the first of a working class family to go to university, choosing a career path in which females are under-represented. No pressure! Additionally, whilst at University I was diagnosed with Dyspraxia. However, I was able to use the knowledge that came with this disability positively, working on and improving my communication and organisational skills to the point where these very attributes were highlighted and commended upon by my lecturers, peers, and employers. The obstacles that I have faced have helped me to grow as both an individual, and as a filmmaker. I now feel confident in my ability to stay calm in stressful scenarios, to work quickly and efficiently, overcoming any issues that may occur. My willingness to succeed has pushed me to follow my dreams and create films with diversity and representation.
