I’m a versatile Shooting Researcher / Junior AP with a strong hands-on background across factual, entertainment, documentary, commercial, live events and film production.

My experience spans editorial and technical roles including researching, self-shooting, camera assisting, data wrangling, logging, production, locations and rigging.

This gives me a practical understanding of what it takes to get a production from an idea on paper to what actually happens on location, especially when plans inevitably change.Recent credits include Assistant Producer on Coca-Cola World Cup Watch Parties, Logger on The Neighbourhood and Inside USA, and Logger on the Britain’s Got Talent Judges Tour.

I’ve also worked as a Junior Researcher and Production Assistant on England Made with Love for PBS America, alongside experience across commercials, HETV, feature film and live-event productions.

I’m comfortable researching stories and contributors, working with talent and members of the public, supporting shoots on location, logging and handling rushes, assisting camera teams and getting stuck into the practical side of production.

I’m also developing my self-shooting experience and am comfortable working with Sony camera systems including the FX6, FS7 and A7S III.With nearly 15 years behind the wheel, I’m a confident driver of everything from motorcycles to 3.5t Luton vans, including towing and both on- and off-road driving. I’m over 30 for insurance purposes and, crucially, I can reverse a van without turning it into a full crew activity.

I’m calm under pressure, proactive, technically minded and happy working wherever I’m most useful. Having worked across camera, editorial, production and technical departments, I’m good at anticipating what different teams need and adapting quickly when a shoot changes direction.

I’m currently looking to continue progressing in Shooting Researcher / Junior AP roles, particularly opportunities combining editorial research, contributors, locations and self-shooting, while remaining open to camera, data, logging and production work.Based in the North West and happy to travel/work nationwide.
