Rare and sensitive access is another speciality and she’s gained access to worlds ranging from high profile major institutions like Google to a specialist rehab centre for mothers addicted to hardcore drugs and to infiltrating criminal underworlds.As well as executive producing programming Leila has written, directed and narrated.She most recently has been showrunning a series for Snap fronted by Jameela Jamil about the biggest mental health challenges facing Gen Z.Previous to this she was “Head of Originals+” at Academy Award winning Off the Fence Productions (“My Octopus Teacher”) where her achievements included securing co-production finance and executive producing a feature length documentary for Channel Four and History USA featuring James Cameron, developing and selling a high end feature documentary “My Gorilla Dream” to BBC 2 and France TV and securing OTF’s first YouTube Original with “The Letter”.She also previously co-founded Antidote Productions which produced 22 hours of critically acclaimed content for major broadcasters, all of which Leila executive produced or directed.This included multi-award winning "Professor Green: Suicide and Me" which she originated and executive produced for BBC, one of their highest ever rated documentaries for a young audience and a film that was screened in U.K Parliament.And "YouTube Revolution" for National Geographic where she secured rare access to YouTube, and Psy ("Gangnam Style"), Scooter Braun and YouTube Co-Founder Steve Chen.
