Jess Jolley joined me as Assistant SFX Co-ordinator on 'All You Need is Kill' in July 2012. With no previous experience of special effects she became an invaluable member of the team, quickly grasping the fundamentals of her role, and often going beyond what was needed. Jess proved that she had an understanding of feature production, and knew who to approach and when. Her office skills, phone manner and attention to detail all meant that she could taken on and manage tasks herself. Her enthusiasm and lively approach often kept us going when the schedule got particularly tough! I would recommend Jess for any role as she can turn her hand to anything and is a joy to work with - I hope that we get to work together again.
