I am a filmmaker and musician from the South-West of the UK, specialising in Writing/Directing and Sound Design/Composing. I am a Plymouth College of Art graduate who studied Film and Screen Arts for three years from 2019-2022. Whilst there I experimented with a various mix of different film styles such as Fiction, Documentary, Music Video and Experimental, an array of equipment such as Super 8, Arri Alexa, Blackmagic URSA mini pro and crew roles ranging from Producing down to Dolly Operator. At the end of my experience I decided that Writing/Directing was most suited to my visual style with Sound Design/Composer also using my musical knowledge to work in the world of film. I have had a taste in the world of music, taking a year out before university to tour in a band, playing at festivals and events such as Boardmasters, Port Eliot and BBC Introducing and having my music featured on BBC Radio. Due to this along with my love of film I decided to use my passion and knowledge of music to work together by composing the soundtrack for almost every film I made at university, using my love for anything electric from synthesisers to drum machines to create my work, inspired by the electronic, synth orientated soundtracks of filmmakers such as Gaspar Noe, Nicolas Winding Refn and John Carpenter. I have a vast array of influences in the filmmaking world as well as the people listed above, from Martin Scorsese, to The Coen Brothers to Spike Jonze I have many inspirations all in my life for many different reasons.
