As a director/producer, I normally work as Awevo Films (awevofilms.com) with my business partner and cinematographer James Chegwyn. We often work as a professional self-contained unit for docs or smaller projects with our own kit and vehicle.My previous work includes Los Jugadores (The Players), a short doc that recently showed ‘Ethnografilm Festival’ in Paris along with 5 other festivals, winning ‘Best Spanish Language Documentary’ at Seven Colors Film Festival in southern Mexico. I’m genuinely impressed. I was expecting just another charity video - but this is so well put together. Slick without being corporate. Genuine without being worthy or cutesy. Some of the camera work reminds me of American indie filmmaking.”I am currently in Screen Cornwall’s New Writer’s Network developing a short comedy called The Original Pasty Western.I’m a British/U.S. citizen based in London, UK; I have lived in the U.S. and México, and can speak fluent Spanish.
